About Givers Trust

Givers Trust, Inc. (Givers Trust) is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization that works in partnership with charitable opportunity providers and their donors/clients to place charitable funds into the hands of smaller, indigenous organizations around the world.

Givers Trust contracts with these providers to locate and qualify global giving opportunities and to market them to their respective constituencies.

Givers Trust, in turn, accepts charitable gifts from generous individuals seeking to invest in specific global giving projects, and also makes grants to organizations qualified through partnering organizations. Contributions to Givers Trust are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law for U.S. taxpayers.

Givers Trust was established in 2005 (under the name of the Global Impact Foundation) and has been responsible for placing about $1.7 million in funds to projects in 15 countries around the world.

For donors/clients, Givers Trust exists to give them confidence in their grassroots giving. For charitable opportunity service providers, Givers Trust allows them to offer a turn key grantmaking solution to their donors/clients.
